Clippi lets users import a video, identify passages in it, produce subtitled vertical clips and prepare their publication on third-party platforms. The editorial score displayed measures the quality of a passage; it is not a promise of performance.
Imported content and third-party rights
The user declares that they hold the necessary rights over each video they import (including the images, voices and music it contains) and remains fully responsible for this content and for its publication. Clippi does not download videos from platforms whose terms prohibit it, and publishes nothing without the user's explicit approval. Manifestly unlawful content may be removed by the publisher as soon as it becomes aware of it.
Intellectual property
The brand, logo, interface, texts and code of the service are the property of the publisher, unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without authorisation. The Inter and Fraunces fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License. Users' videos and clips remain their property.
Liability
The publisher endeavours to ensure the availability and accuracy of the service, without guaranteeing uninterrupted access. Transcriptions, selections and subtitles are produced automatically and may contain errors: the user checks them before any publication. The publisher is not responsible for the content of third-party sites to which the site links, nor for the decisions of platforms (restriction, refusal or removal of a publication).
