What Clippi refuses to do
No rights, no processing.
No video is processed without a recorded confirmation. Clippi does not bypass platform protections, YouTube included.

An approximate engine is flagged as such. A post is only “successful” if the platform confirms it.

The score measures the editorial quality of a passage. It predicts nothing about views.
Built to produce, not to show off
- Subtitles
- Nine styles (including an editorial cascade with two typefaces and a one-word-at-a-time mode), highlighted active word, text kept inside the areas platforms don't cover. .srt export, manual correction.
- Framing
- Face detection for the vertical crop; position adjustable by hand; or the full frame on a blurred background.
- Quality control
- Eleven checks: format, sync, volume, black frames, mid-sentence cuts, redundancy, title consistency, rights. A rejected clip goes back to the responsible agent.
- Editor
- IN/OUT points, text, style, music, keywords. Each change creates a new rendered version; the old one can still be restored.
- Recovery
- Tasks are persisted. A restart loses nothing and creates no duplicates.
- Log
- Each agent has a real status, logs and validation criteria. An error is explained, then can be retried.

Frequently asked questions
Can I import a YouTube video?
You import the file of your own video (downloadable from YouTube Studio). Clippi does not download from YouTube: the service's terms forbid it.
Does Clippi publish without my consent?
Never. Every post requires your approval and respects the account's quotas, and an uncertain result is never replayed automatically. If a platform doesn't allow the API, you download the clip and post it yourself.
How accurate is the transcription?
With a Whisper key: all languages, timestamped words. The fallback engine is limited to English and flagged in the interface.
Is music provided?
No, it's optional. You add your own tracks and declare their licence; the volume lowers automatically under the voice.
Are my videos private?
Each workspace is isolated at the database level, and media is only served through signed, time-limited links.
