General Terms of Use and Sale
Last updated: 20 October 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern access to and use of the Clippi service, available at clippi.fr (the “Service”), published by Jennifer Coruble (the “Publisher”), as well as the purchase of subscriptions and tokens. By creating an account, you accept them; you may reread them at any time on this page. The publisher is identified in the legal notice (mentions légales).
“Consumer” means any natural person who acts for purposes which fall outside the scope of their professional activity. “Professional” means any other person who uses the Service.
2. The Service
Clippi allows you to import a video for which you hold the rights, transcribe it, identify passages, produce subtitled vertical clips, check them, correct them and prepare their publication on third-party platforms. The detailed operation is described on the How it works page.
- Automated processing. Transcription, passage selection, titles and subtitles are produced automatically, with the help of artificial intelligence providers. They may contain errors: you check them before any publication.
- No guarantee of results. The editorial score measures the quality of a passage; it does not predict views, audience or revenue. The Publisher makes no commitment as to any distribution result.
- Changes. The Service evolves: features may be added, modified or removed. Some plans or connections may not yet be available; they are flagged as such in the Service.
3. Account
- The Service is reserved for persons aged at least 13. For users aged 13 to 14, the account is activated only after the consent of a holder of parental authority, given via the link sent to the e-mail address they provided; if there is no reply within 14 days, or in case of refusal, the account is deleted. Until consent is given, the account remains read-only: no processing, no purchases.
- A minor does not have the capacity to enter into a paid contract alone: purchases of tokens and subscriptions fall to their legal representative, who bears the payment. The date of birth declared at registration must be accurate; a false declaration entitles Clippi to suspend or delete the account.
- You provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You choose a password of at least 10 characters and keep it confidential: any action performed from your account is deemed to have been performed by you. Immediately report any unauthorised use to contact@clippi.fr.
- An account corresponds to a private workspace. You do not transfer or share your account with third parties.
4. Your content
- Rights. You declare that you hold all necessary rights in each video you import: copyright, neighbouring rights, music, image and voice of the persons appearing in it, publication authorisations. You attest to these rights at each import; the attestation is kept with the project.
- Ownership. You remain the owner of your videos and of the clips produced. The Publisher claims no rights over your content.
- Performance licence. You authorise the Publisher and its technical providers to host, copy, analyse, transcribe, transform and encode your content and, at your request, to transmit it to the platforms you have connected, solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service. This authorisation ends upon deletion of the content or the account.
- Prohibited content. You refrain from importing or publishing content that is unlawful, hateful or discriminatory, that glorifies crimes, that constitutes child sexual abuse material, that infringes the privacy, image or rights of a third party, that is misleading to the point of constituting fraud, or that contains malicious software.
- Platforms. You undertake to comply with the terms of each platform on which you publish. It is prohibited to use Clippi to circumvent a technical protection, quota or rule of these platforms, or to publish in bulk in an automated manner without the approval provided for in the Service.
- Reporting and removal. To report content, write to contact@clippi.fr. The Publisher may remove or disable access to manifestly unlawful content as soon as it becomes aware of it, and suspend the account concerned.
5. Publication on third-party platforms
Clippi publishes nothing without your explicit approval. You connect your accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) through their official authorisation procedure, which you can revoke at any time in Settings or with the platform. Each platform alone decides what it accepts, restricts or removes: the Publisher is not responsible for these decisions. If the outcome of a publication is uncertain, the Service flags it to you and does not automatically retry it. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram are trademarks of their respective owners and are not affiliated with Clippi.
6. Plans, tokens and prices
- Free plan. It is offered without a bank card, with a limited number of tokens each month.
- Tokens. The Service consumes tokens: the analysis of a video (per minute of video) and the rendering of clips. The current rate schedule is displayed on the Pricing page and before each launch; the cost of an action is shown to you before you launch it. Tokens have no monetary value and are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash.
- Monthly tokens and purchased tokens. Tokens included in a plan are valid for the current period and do not carry over from one month to the next. Tokens purchased in packs have no expiry date. The month's tokens are consumed first.
- Debit and re-crediting. Tokens are debited when the action is launched. If a processing task fails because of the Service (analysis not completed, rendering failed), the corresponding tokens are automatically re-credited to you. A processing task that you cancel yourself is not re-credited.
- Subscriptions. Subscriptions are monthly, renew automatically each month and may be cancelled at any time from “Manage subscription” in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no refund of the period already begun, unless otherwise provided by law.
- Prices. Prices are shown in euros on the Pricing page; the VAT (TVA) statement appears on the invoice. The Publisher may change its prices: a change does not apply to purchases already made and, for an ongoing subscription, you are notified of it at least 30 days before it applies, so that you have the option to cancel.
- Payment. Payment is processed by Stripe. The Publisher neither receives nor stores your card number. If a subscription payment fails, the plan may revert to the free plan.
- Availability of plans. Paid plans and the purchase of tokens are being opened progressively; they can be purchased only once the purchase button is displayed in Settings.
7. Right of withdrawal (droit de rétractation) (consumers)
If you are a Consumer, you have in principle 14 days to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance, without having to justify your decision.
- Tokens (digital content). Before paying, you expressly request that the tokens be credited immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as they are credited (Article L.221-28, 13°, of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation)). This request is presented to you as a mandatory checkbox before any payment.
- Subscriptions (service). You may request immediate performance of the service before the end of the 14-day period. If you then withdraw, you pay an amount proportionate to the portion of the service already provided, calculated on the basis of the tokens consumed, and the remainder is refunded to you (Article L.221-25).
To withdraw where this right applies, write to contact@clippi.fr, stating your account address and the purchase concerned. The refund is made no later than 14 days after receipt of your request, using the payment method used. The right of withdrawal does not apply to Professionals.
8. Availability and maintenance
The Publisher uses reasonable means to ensure access to the Service, without any guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions may occur (maintenance, incident, failure of a provider or of a third-party platform, force majeure). Ongoing processing tasks are preserved and resumed after a restart.
9. Liability
- The Publisher is bound by an obligation of means (obligation de moyens). It is not liable for the content you import or publish, for the use you make of the clips, or for the decisions of third-party platforms.
- For Professionals, the Publisher's liability is limited to direct damages and capped at the amount paid during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability; indirect damages are excluded (loss of turnover, audience or opportunity, or of data not backed up by you).
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law grants to Consumers, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and services (Articles L.224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation)), nor the Publisher's liability in cases of gross negligence (faute lourde), wilful misconduct (dol) or bodily injury.
- Keep a copy of your source videos: the Service is not an archiving tool.
10. Suspension and termination
- By you. You may delete your projects and disconnect your accounts at any time in the Service, and request deletion of your account at contact@clippi.fr. Remaining monthly tokens are lost; unused purchased tokens are lost upon deletion of the account, unless you request their refund at the time of your deletion request and the law requires it.
- By the Publisher. In the event of a breach of these terms (in particular prohibited content, infringement of a third party's rights, abusive or fraudulent use), the Publisher may suspend or close the account, after a formal notice (mise en demeure) that remains without effect within 7 days, or without delay in case of urgency or manifestly unlawful content. If the Publisher closes an account without any breach on your part, it refunds unused purchased tokens.
- Effects. Upon closure, your data is deleted under the conditions of the privacy policy, subject to retention required by law.
11. Intellectual property in the Service
The Service, its brand, its logo, its interface, its texts and its code are protected. You are granted only a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, for the duration of your access. It is prohibited to copy them, decompile them or extract their content in an automated manner, except where permitted by law.
12. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of the contractual framework of the Service.
13. Changes to the terms
The Publisher may amend these terms. A substantial change is notified to you by e-mail or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect; you may then cancel free of charge. Continuing to use the Service after that date constitutes acceptance. The version in force bears the date shown at the top of this page.
14. Complaints, mediation and governing law
For any complaint, first write to contact@clippi.fr: we will reply as soon as possible. If you are a Consumer and no amicable solution has been found, you may have recourse, free of charge, to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) (Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation)): the mediator's contact details are provided on request at contact@clippi.fr.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute with a Professional, the courts within whose jurisdiction the Publisher's registered office is located have jurisdiction; a Consumer may bring the matter before the court of their place of residence or the one designated by law. If any provision is declared null, the others remain applicable. Failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
